Each copper cuff begins as a simple sheet of raw copper and is slowly transformed by hand into a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.

I cut, shape, texture, engrave and finish each cuff individually, incorporating designs inspired by nature, feminine energy and the beautifully imperfect paths we travel. Because every piece is created by hand, no two cuffs are exactly alike. Variations in texture, patina and finish are part of what makes each one unique.

The Tradition of Wearing Copper

Copper has been worn against the skin for centuries and has a long history of use in traditional wellness practices. Copper itself is an essential trace mineral and plays important roles within the human body, including normal connective tissue formation, energy metabolism and nervous system function.

For those who are drawn to the tradition of wearing copper, I intentionally leave the inside of my cuffs uncoated, allowing the natural copper to remain in direct contact with the skin rather than covering it with lacquer or a protective sealant.

Why Does Copper Sometimes Turn Skin Green?

You may notice a green or blue-green mark where your cuff rests against your skin. This is completely normal and is simply a natural reaction between copper and moisture, perspiration, natural skin oils, lotions and your individual skin chemistry.

Some people experience this more readily than others. The colouring is generally harmless and can simply be washed away with soap and water. It does not mean there is anything wrong with your bracelet or that the copper is poor quality—it is part of the natural character of wearing genuine, uncoated copper.

Over time, your cuff may also develop its own beautiful patina, giving it even more character and making it uniquely yours.

While copper is an essential mineral and has a long history of traditional wellness use, these cuffs are created as handcrafted jewellery and are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any medical condition.
